I just wanted to share a little update on Carter. Since he turned 1 year old, I’ll just be updating every 6 months instead of every month. So far this boy has done some growing (not much physically lol) in the past 6 months! He’s getting so so smart, talking more and more, and getting so independent. Since turning a year old, he has learned several new words, gotten all of his teeth in (minus the 2 year old molars), and we’ve moved out to the farm and he’s loving it! He loves playing outside and throws a fit when its time to come inside. He hasn’t had a hair cut yet, although, he could probably use a trim around his ears, but I can’t bring myself to do it just yet.
We are getting to the hard but fun part of parenting. Have you ever heard one of those Sour Patch Kids commercials? “First they’re sweet, then they’re sour”…umm..hello terrible two’s! I know it’s just a phase and he will get through it, I mean WE will get through it. Aside from this…
Carter’s doctor says he’s really smart for his age and was pretty impressed with him at his checkup. He’s weighing 24.4lbs and and grew a whole 2” since his last visit (proud mom 🙂 ). He still loves “moo cows” and anything to do with them. He’s really into anything that is not age appropriate, i.e. toys, playing with tools and machinery, climbing on iron…lol. He may be little, but he thinks he can do big things and that makes me a little proud. 🙂
